“The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.”
This is what I heard as I came out of my sleep on the morning of July 12. It came with a heaviness associated with many having lost sight of the fact that ALL THINGS are subject to God, including evil. We state that He's Almighty with our lips, but live as though it isn't true. We have become so shortsighted that we focus on the things of this earth versus the “the things above”.
There is a warning so loud in the Spirit for the people of God. “Have you forgotten your Lord and Savior? Has your faith been displaced?”
Trump is not God, nor above Him.
The government is not God, nor above Him.
Satan and his angels are not God, nor above Him.
You are not God, nor above Him.
Your pastor, prophet, intercessor, friends, etc are not God, nor above Him.
All things are subject to God! This is demonstrated in Genesis when He spoke creation into existence and separated the waters of the earth from the expanse of the sky; He spoke and the waters obeyed. It was demonstrated in Job when Satan was given permission to try Job. And even though he desires to sift us as wheat, Jesus has prayed that our faith fails us not.
The heart of the Father is grieved that we have placed so many and so much before Him. That we consider so many other possibilities before we believe that His plans are to prosper us and not to harm us. There's a heaviness because we have forgotten His precepts and His promises.
Nothing happens that He has not ordained or allowed. We state that He is omniscient, yet live as though something caught Him by surprise or went without His knowledge. We exclude Him from the details of our lives, then question His presence when things go awry. The Psalmist and King, David, asked God “when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I (psalm 61:2)”. He was yearning for protection and refuge, a strong place, a place of security and knew that God was and is the Rock (of Salvation). He knew that his thoughts and capabilities failed in comparison to God, and needed to be found in Him. He acknowledged his frailty by exalting and honoring the position of God. Which showed his understanding of his necessary dependency on the Most High. Why? Because He is omnipotent, holding ALL POWER, possessing unlimited power! No evil triumphs over Him.
Our conversations have been reduced by small thinking, our statements aren't aligned, our actions are in direct opposition to His word. We must agree with His word in faith, through word and action. Where are those that boast in the Lord? Who speaks of His goodness, power, and glory? “Arise!”, says the Lord! He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to be the Savior of the world. That whosoever believes shall have everlasting life. He did this while we were still sinners. And if He chased us when we were at our worst, how much more does He desire to care, tend to, provide for, deliver us out of, love, and shepherd us? He is Abba Father!
There's a spirit of heaviness that has descended and many have agreed with it. But, as watchmen, we declare the breaking of every yoke of bondage. That there shall be an exchange, joy for sorrow and beauty for ashes! No weapon formed shall prosper and the gates of hell shall not prevail! We bind the works of darkness and loose the spirit of truth and the garment of praise. Be released in Jesus Name. May the cloudiness, fogginess, lack of clarity be lifted and vision be restored in Jesus Name!
“Out of our mouth the heart speaks”(Luke 6:45) because from the mouth flows the issues of the heart and this defiles us (Matthew 15:18). Why? Because the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9) and life and death lies in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). This is why we are to guard the heart (Proverbs 4:23) because of its interconnectedness with the mouth and life and death. And this is why we must lay the heart on the altar of God. Because without vigilance, we're quickly lured away from truth and soundness. The issues, concerns, disappointments, judgments, prejudices, biases, desires, thoughts, etc have to be cultivated in and through godliness… holiness…. Transformed and renewed by His transformative power.
We've lost sight of how BIG our God is. And with the access to media, through the bombardment of information, many have grown callused, desensitized, apathetic, prejudiced, worried, weary, and/or cynical as a result.
And so the challenge today and moving forward:
¹ repentance. Not just an apology for forgiveness but a complete overhaul in how we move, think, and live. A turning away from what was prior and doing it according to the Word and will of God. Remembering always Who He is, and what He desires for us.
Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind]. 1 John 4:4 AMP.
² Be both a hearer and a doer. We get excited about fire filled words and experiences, and immediately revert back to old ways. Let us be saturated with His truths that they govern our movements, our existence.
But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]. For if anyone only listens to the word without obeying it, he is like a man who looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he immediately forgets what he looked like. But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience]. James 1:22-25
³ study salvation. Understand what it means on a personal and corporate level. We're living for eternity in Him. And because no man knows the day nor the hour, we should spend every moment in a posture of readiness.

⁴ study the attributes of God. Inow Who He is! Recall what He's previously done, knowing He's capable of doing it again and again.
⁵ daily search scripture that speaks promises and hope to your current situation. Be intentional to encapsulate the Word into your heart and speak it more than what is produced in the natural. We can speak to the mountain in faith and it be moved. But we must first know the heart/Word of God in order to properly identify what isn't Him and what is. We've greatly mislabeled God lessons and demonic attacks because it was challenging or uncomfortable. But the Lord chapters those whom He loves. So discomfort, hardship, and challenge isn't always the enemy - it can be God. But most importantly, all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). So, dive in to see what good He is producing, even in moments that are seemingly bad.
